Hello everyone! We hope that your spring semester is going well and you’re hanging in there for the final stretch. Here are some great events and resources being offered on and off campus, be sure to take a look.

Yoga As Healing Retreat

The Yoga as Healing retreat is coming up this month. It will be taking place from 9:30AM- 2:30PM on Saturday, April 27th and Sunday, April 28th. It is a free of cost, 2 day holistic healing retreat intentioned to be a space of healing from sexual violence, sexual harassment, relationship violence, and/or stalking. Registration for the retreat is due by April 12th.

This opportunity is being facilitated by the Rising Harte Wellness Center in Oakland. They will be covering topics such as health (mental, physical, and emotional), financial literacy, practical public speaking, food insecurity and meal prepping on a budget, future and career building and much more. They are seeking candidates that are aged between 18-25, who are passionate about the TAY population, or interested in Health or Social Work and able to make a 7-month commitment to the cohort.

The application is due by Friday, April 19th.

Basic Needs Center Opening Week Celebration

Come celebrate! After six years of community efforts UC Berkeley is launching the first-ever Basic Needs Center on campus. Receptions will be taking place form 2/25-3/1. To RSVP for the receptions click here.

UC Berkeley’s Travel department is hosting interviews on campus for the TSA PreCheck service. Interviews to complete the TSA enrollment process will be held at Warren Hall from March 11th until the 15th. Frequent flyers, this one is for you. Click on the button to find out more.

The Children's Bureau wants to feature your story!

Each year, the Children's Bureau's National Foster Care Month (NFCM) initiative features real-life stories from Children's Bureau grantees and others.
